The Institute for Immunology is committed to providing exceptional educational and training opportunities for scholars at all levels. Institute faculty members are actively involved in classroom teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Faculty members also serve as research mentors for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, and provide opportunities for advanced undergraduates to conduct supervised research.
The institute works closely with the graduate program in Cellular and Molecular Biosciences to recruit outstanding immunology graduate students, and to provide a curriculum that prepares the students for successful dissertation research.
Graduate students and postdocs are also encouraged to attend biweekly Immunology Seminars by distinguished outside faculty, weekly Immunology Journal Club and the Annual Immunology Fair.
